If you love the idea of driving a Subaru because of the versatility and reliability that these vehicles offer, get ready to be impressed by the new batch of Subaru models to be released in 2021. For many years, one of the popular models at North Reading Subaru has been the Crosstrek. It has ideal size for many of our customers, along with standard all-wheel drive, many advanced technology components, and an array of high-tech safety features that will give you a lot of peace of mind.

For 2021, the Subaru Crosstrek is going to be updated in several notable ways. First, there's a new Sport trim. The Sport trim will have some unique stylistic elements to give the SUV a bolder appearance, and inside the cabin, StarTex upholstery will be easy to clean. The Sport trim, along with the Limited trim of the Crosstrek, will be powered by a 2.5-Liter, four-cylinder SUBARU BOXER engine with 182 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. Further, the Sport trim will be the only one in the Crosstrek line-up to have a dual-function X-MODE function, which comes with Hill Descent Control and different settings that can let you optimize your all-wheel-drive performance when the conditions aren't so great.

In terms of safety, the 2021 Subaru Crosstrek has a slightly more comprehensive package than its 2020 counterpart. With the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology package, Crosstrek drivers will get advanced adaptive cruise control and lane-centering functionality. This can make a big difference as you try to keep you and your precious cargo safe on the roads. Of course, these systems are in addition to others, such as emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring, that many Crosstreks already have.
